- In 2010 and 2011 the group took a two-year hiatus to pursue solo projects. They came together again in 2012 to try to record a new album but it was cancelled after they broke up again on October 29, 2013.
- The brothers have sold over 17 million albums worldwide as of 2013. The group reunited to record Sucker on March 1, 2019.

2005 to 2007: It’s About Time

- in 2005 Joe, Kevin and Nick recorded Please Be Mine. It was their first recorded song.
- After hearing the song Columbia Records wanted to sign the brothers up as a group.
- While they worked on their first studio album, they to word in 2005 with artists such as Jump 5, Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, the Backstreet Boys, and The Click 5.
- The album was supposed to be released in February 2006 but that didn’t happen because there were several executive changes at Sony records which is the parent company of Columbia Records.
- The album It’s About Time was finally released on August 8, 2006.
- The album was a limited release of 50,000 copies because of this believe it or not the price of the album could be as high as US$200-US$300 on auction sites such as eBay.
- On October 3, 2006 next 2004 solo single called Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer) was released.
- The second single from It’s About time was called Year 3000 and it premiered on the Disney Channel in January 2007. The band was eventually dropped by Columbia records in early 2007.
2007 to 2008: Jonas Brothers
- in February 2007 the Jonas Brothers sign with Hollywood records label. At the same time they began appearing in commercials for Baby Bottle Pops singing the jingle.
the Jonas brothers made their first appearance at the White House on Monday, April 9, 2007 during the annual White House during the annual Easter egg role and they sing the national anthem.
- They went back to the White House on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 to celebrate Women in sports during a T-ball game on the South lawn. They sang the national anthem again and after the game the Jonas Brothers entertained at the picnic reception with some of their hits.
- Their self-titled album was released on August 7, 2007 and it reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in its first week.

2008 to 2009: A Little Bit Longer and Acting
- the Jonas Brothers third studio album called a capital is that little Life that Bit was released in the United States on August 12, 2008.
- As it was released on iTunes one song at a time each song contained a podcast and we made number one for at least three days.
- After they finished their Look Me in the Eyes Tour they announced that they would be going on tour and opening up for Avril Lavigne for her Best Damn Tour for the second leg of the tour which was in Europe.

- They co-wrote and produced 6 songs for their friend Demi Lovato for her album called Don’t Forget.
- The Jonas Brothers also did a half-hour variety special on the Disney Channel called Studio DC: Almost Live that featured the Muppets and other Disney Channel stars.

- on July 4, 2008 the Jonas Brothers appeared at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto to start their Burnin’ Up tour promoting the album A Little Bit Longer.
- The Jonas Brothers were featured in the July 2008 issue of the Rolling Stone magazine and became the youngest band ever to be on the cover of the magazine.
- The brothers appeared as musical guests on Saturday Night Live’s 34th season on February 14, 2009.
2009 to 2010: Jonas and Lines, Vines and Trying Times
- the Jonas Brothers released their fourth studio album called Lines, Vines, and Trying Times on June 15, 2009.
- This is what they said about the album title, “lines are something that someone feed to, vines are the things that get in the way, and trying times well that’s obvious.” “We’re trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow. The overall message is it’s the same old Jonas Brothers, in a sense, but we are adding more and more music, including different musical instruments That Are going to add and build to the sounds we already have. Our journal in songs, about all the things we’ve gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. We’ve also been working on trying to use metaphors to kind of mask a literal things that have happened to us.”
- The album debuted at number one making it the second number one album they created.
in late 2010 the Jonas Brothers were part of a concert at the White House again honouring Paul McCartney. He was receiving the Gershwin Prize for popular music. It was given to him by US Pres. Barack Obama. Paul McCartney requested That the Jonas Brothers cover the song Drive My Car.

2011 to 2013: Hiatus, Live and Split
- in 2011 the Jonas brothers took a hiatus to focus on solo careers. They also parted ways with Hollywood records.
- In August 2012 Kevin Jonas starred in the series Married to Jonas along with his wife Danielle and his brothers Nick and Joe. It documented how the young couple lived.
- On August 17, 2012 two years after they split they announced they would be coming back together for a world tour to span over 2012 into 2013.
- However on October 9, 2013 they cancelled 23 tour dates because of the deep rift within the band over creative differences. At the end of October the brothers officially confirmed That they had split up.
2019 to present: Return and Happiness Begins

- On February 28, 2019 the Jonas Brothers announced their comeback in social media.
- On June 8, 2019 the Jonas Brothers released their single Greenlight when they appeared on an episode of Songland.
- their single called Remember This premiered on June 18, 2021 and will be used in NBC’s coverage of the 2020 Summer Olympics.
They also recorded a song called Mercy for the soundtrack of Space Jam: a new legacy which was released on June 9, 2021.
